PaXifica’s film production Everyone Writes Memoir, originally shot late 2019, has been significantly delayed in its postproduction due to the Covid crisis. However, earlier this year PaXifica, with the support of the Directors and Editors Guild of New Zealand, was able to arrange a visa for Mark Solter, the cinematographer, to fly in from LA which has enabled us to reshoot a couple of scenes, introduce a new scene into the film, finalise the edit and complete the sound design. Unfortunately, the lockdown at level 4 occurred once again and we were not able to undergo the sound mix and colour grade before Mark’s visa expired. The film has gone with Mark back to LA where the sound mix and grade will now be completed. We expect the film to finally reach the screen before this coming Xmas.
