In November Alexander co-directed with Lucinda Peterkin and designed the set for the theatre production of the classic play, Wind in the Willows, staged at the Artworks Theatre for the Waiheke Theatre Company.
Prior to the show Alexander was responsible for the removal of the proscenium arch that had plagued the theatre for years, liberating the stage area and providing a more modern stage to the theatre. Through acquiring sponsorship from Placemakers Ltd for the Waiheke Theatre Company, Alexander was then able to design and oversaw the realisation of the most ambitious set that has been created for the theatre in many years.
